Tube Lines Connect Project - Northern Line

Following the successful delivery of design enabling works on the Piccadilly Line the Robert West team has been appointed to the next phase of the Connect Project, the Northern Line. The team will focus on the 25 stations and depots north of Mornington Crescent and are responsible for the assessment and design of both civil structural and electrical enabling works. This will lead to the installation of a new integrated digital radio system that will provide dramatically better communications throughout the Underground, leading to improved services. Work on the Northern Line started in October last year and the team's assessment and design work should be completed by the end of May this year.
